Float Switch
These corrosion-resistant plastic float switches are
ideal for a wide range of applications, and perfect for OEM use.
Molded in your choice of three materials: Polypropylene (grey, blue and
black), Hydrocarbon Resistant Acetal (red), and Kynar PVDF (natural,
unpigmented).
The switch can be mounted up or down and can be
changed from normally open to normally closed by reversing the
float. The smooth surfaces are easy to keep clean.
Contact
ratings - AC: .08 amp, 120 V, 60 Hz, resistive; .04 amp, 240 V, 60 Hz,
resistive; 3.36 VA, 240 V, 60 Hz; pilot duty; DC: 1 amp max @ 24 VDC
resistive. For higher electrical loads, use the "Button Pack
Relay" (part number 50-BP-AF-AC5).

This
is the quintessential float switch . . . the simple, inexpensive
solution to small tank level sensing problems, expressly designed for
OEM applications.
Available in Polypropylene, Acetal and Kynar (PVDF)
and easily mounted from the outside-in or the inside-out and able to
switch either normally open or normally closed by rotating the switch
180°.
The switches will operate in compatible liquids with a
specific gravity as low as .75 at pressures up to 50 psi and
temperatures up to 194°F. The Series 15 switch is UL recognized.
Contact ratings -- AC: .08 amp, 120 V, 60 Hz, resistive; .04 amp 240 V,
60 Hz, resistive; 3.36 VA, 240 V, 60 Hz; pilot duty; DC: 1 amp max @ 24
VDC resistive.

The
Series 20 switch is designed to handle industrial control jobs like
switching contactors and solenoid valves. It uses the Yaskawa
Bestact™ hermetically sealed switch element, hinged armatures,
wrought contacts and a wiping action which make a reliable inductive
load switching possible.
Available in corrosion resistant
Polypropylene, Acetal and Kynar (PVDF) and capable of switching up to .5
amps @ 240 AC (120 VA), .3 amps @ 115 VDC, directly allows for a wide
range of industrial and OEM applications. |
